Library Presentation Will Highlight BPWA’s Twenty Years of Path Stewardship

Join us for a free community program focusing on our twenty years of accomplishments on Wednesday, August 8, at 6:30 p.m., at the North Branch of the Berkeley Public Library. BPWA President Colleen Neff will show a new video about Berkeley’s treasured network of public paths and stairways and discuss how our organization has worked to protect public access to them.
In addition, our master path-builders Steve Glaeser and Charlie Bowen will present slides of our newly completed paths on city-owned rights of way, and volunteer co-ordinator Mary Lynch show before-and-after photos of our efforts to clear weed-obscured paths.
We will be selling the recently published 8th edition of our map, Berkeley and Its Pathwaysas well as membershipstee-shirts, and other merchandise. As always, the proceeds from our sales enable us to buy materials to build more paths and maintain the existing ones.
