Four paths renamed for founders of Berkeley Path Wanderers Association
On January 19, the Berkeley City Council unanimously approved the renaming of four pedestrian paths in honor of the founders of Berkeley Path Wanderers Association (BPWA): Ruth Armstrong (Moskovitz), Jacque Ensign, Eleanor Hall Gibson, and Patricia DeVito.
The Trails of Claremont Canyon: Take a Walk on the Wild(er) Side
Claremont Canyon is the largest undeveloped canyon on the western slope of the Berkeley-Oakland hills. Beginning above the Claremont Hotel and Spa, the 500-acre canyon extends all the way past Grizzly Peak Boulevard.
